About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team. As an integral member of the engineering team, you'll be helping us build a sophisticated, next generation financial services and benefits platform.

Our customers trust us with a lot: integrating seamlessly across financial institutions, moving funds, tracking balances, helping with their healthcare decisions, and keeping their data extremely secure. In order to take on this mission we're building our applications on modern AWS cloud computing, such as EC2, RDS, Redshift, Lambda, and Container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Expand on existing infrastructure code to design and build mission critical applications and systems on AWS.
Improve and maintain existing monitoring implementation.
Create, optimize and ensure Production and Development/Testing environments are resilient, secured, operationally monitored and run reliably.
Be on call to respond and triage Production issues.
Work closely with the Security team to ensure infrastructure security is up-to-date and enforced.
Expand infrastructure automation efforts through code, including Fault Tolerance and Disaster Recovery.

Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience in designing, building and maintaining an AWS Linux-based infrastructure.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent
Experience with managing infrastructure through code using Terraform.
Experience with configuration management and provisioning tools (Ansible a plus).
Experience with Containerization, e.g., Docker, Kubernetes.
Experience with administering Linux systems with networking, disks, installing & configuring software, etc.
Experience with automating engineering tasks with tools such as Git, Jenkins.
Experience with designing and administration networking and security in cloud environments.
AWS Certification is a plus!

The base salary range listed below for this position is inclusive of all U.S. States and Washington D.C. Actual pay will depend on the candidate's location and experience.

Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000 DOE
