About the Team

Grow your career and join Workday’s Mobile team as a Senior DevOps Engineer!

Our engineering organization focuses on collaboration, delivery and having fun! We empower software development teams by providing CI/CD tooling and infrastructure to build, test and deploy their mobile applications.

About the Role

Drive a technical roadmap, innovate and strengthen the existing CI platform.
Build positive relationships both with the software engineering teams that use our pipelines and other CI organizations within Workday.
Be an advocate for CI/CD and help to deliver standard methodologies within Workday.
Be passionate about software engineering practices, automation, and finding opportunities to reduce toil.
Be curious about the strategic direction of CI/CD within the software industry and contribute to discussions about this with other SMEs in Workday.

About You

Basic Qualifications

3-5 or more years in a technical role with proven experience of innovation and feature delivery.
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Experience in working with agile methodology
Experience with cloud native technologies - AWS, GCP, Tekton, Argo, Kubernetes
Experience with building, operating, maintaining and scaling CI pipelines.

Other Qualifications

Hands-on experience of Jenkins, Docker, Gradle, Groovy, Artifactory, Terraform and Ansible.
Proficiency in scripting languages – Python, Ruby, Groovy, etc.
Experience working with providing support to consumers of a platform service
iOS and/or Android experience – XCode, Android Studio
Experience with macOS operating systems
Superb written and verbal communication skills

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The base pay range for the primary location of this job is listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, future potential and internal pay parity. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $88,600 - $132,800
