Better Health is creating a new medical provider type, disrupting the $60B home medical supply industry. How? By bundling peer support, coaching, education, and home delivery of medical supplies in an end-to-end care solution. We turn the focus to our members and help them choose the best medical supplies to address their underlying chronic conditions.
Since its inception in November 2019, Better Health has gained Medicare licenses in 46 states, 11 Medicaid licenses, and preferred national provider contracts with Oscar Health, UHealth, Humana. As a result, our member base has rapidly grown month over month with virtually no churn. What is the role?
As our team's Diabetes Specialist, you will help members who are living with diabetes. Your role will be responsible for designing and providing diabetes programs for our members, team, and community. This role requires you to be a Certified Diabetes Educator and, ideally, located in the state of Florida.
The Diabetes Specialist will spend most of their time working with individual members, who are looking for support in managing their care. It's important that you have experience working with different diabetes medical supplies including CGMs and pumps to help guide members that are new to using the devices. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with diabetes supplies and is able to make product recommendations to help members discover better supplies to meet their unique needs.
This role requires the knowledge and experience necessary to guide the diabetes program. You'll be an instrumental part of helping to grow our business supporting people with diabetes. You are a subject matter expert that will frequently be brought into cross-functional teams to advise and consult.
