Era Living is seeking a full-time Dietary Aide to become the newest member of our Culinary Services team located in our Ida Culver House Broadview in North Seattle, WA. Available shifts will be scheduled Wednesday - Sunday, 06:00am to 02:30pm.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Dietary Aide is responsible for the preparation, service, and cleanup of meals for assigned Assisted Living and Terrace areas.
- Prepares meals in accordance with ordered diets, preferences, and special needs with attention to food production requirements
- Serves meals in accordance with the established menu and consideration for the individual resident food requirements using established standards for handling hot/cold menu items
- Sets up and loads the food delivery carts for all meals
- Clears tables and collects the service ware and transports to the dish machine
- Operates and deep cleans equipment in the main kitchen and Assisted Living /Terrace kitchenettes and/or dining rooms
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to read and understand the Diet Roster for Assisted Living/Terrace residents in the Assisted Living and Terrace dining areas

Ability to perform dietary functions in a health care setting
- Ability to perform duties in compliance with established Universal Precautions, fire safety, infection control and sanitation procedures, and state & federal regulatory requirements
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to pass DSHS background check, required
Education and Experience:
- High School or GED, required
- First Aid and CPR certified or able to obtain within 30 days of hire, required
- Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire, required
- Must meet L I minimum age requirement of 18 years old to operate kitchen equipment
- Previous experience as a dietary aide in a healthcare setting, preferred
