Roles & Responsibilities:

Collects cash payments for meals served in cafeteria; totals and deposits receipts; performs related duties as required.

• Picks up cashier box containing the employee's bank in presence of Accounting Clerk, and both sign slip verifying the amount.

• Obtains numbered receipt tickets and signs in same to verify the starting number.

• Counts, records, and deposits cash receipts after heavy traffic periods. Prepares daily income forms.

• Prepares the daily menu board.

• Reports incidents and customer comments to Supervisor.

• Performs related duties.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $21.4 - $22.61 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
