Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 8a - 4:30p

S ummary:

Summary:
Serves as a primary resource for supporting and maintaining internet site(s) for The MetroHealth System on a daily basis. Develops, writes, implements, and manages content/multi-media communications, and other digital assets for a range of web sites for The MetroHealth System. Provides input into the design and architecture of web sites to maximize performance. Serves as a key member of the marketing and communications team to integrate content across department divisions. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Required:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Web Design or Development, or other related field from an accredited institution or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below.
3 years of writing, content editing or web design experience in a health care or business setting.
Strong time and project management skills.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while under deadline pressure.
Proficient use of web content management systems.
Proficient use of Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
Understanding of information architecture principles for web sites.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Strong proofreading and editing skills.
Willing and able to perform work functions remotely during off hours as required and/or in the event of emergency communication needs.
Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred:
Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and/or CSS.
Experience managing web content.
Experience using Sitecore CMS.
Experience in a health care setting.
Search Engine Optimization – basic knowledge.
Use of the Adobe Creative Suite for editing purposes.
Ability to create content in the form of stories, blogs, video, podcasts, and photo galleries.

Physical Requirements:
May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion.
Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
