Digital Marketing Manager

Role Summary

Responsible for driving the development and execution of the digital and inbound marketing strategies, which include the online member experience, social media channels, and electronic products and services. This position works collaboratively with the Marketing, Information Security, and Information Technology departments to create an exceptional member experience that supports the Credit Union’s brand across all digital channels. This position is also responsible for overseeing the management of website, SEO marketing, email marketing, marketing automation, and social media activities.

In this role, you can expect to have some of these responsibilities:

  • Oversee marketing strategies for various digital channels with the objective of increasing usage and conversion rates, along with improving the overall member experience
    • The digital channels may include, but are not limited to the following: Website, Mobile App and Online Banking, Bill Pay, E-Deposits, Online Loan and Membership Origination, Comparison tools and calculators
  • Ensure messaging consistency and reinforce brand positioning and awareness across multiple social media networks and member digital channels such as: in-lobby digital signage, email communications, text messages, and online and mobile content
  • Develop and implement Digital Experience business plans that help support marketing initiatives and the Credit Union's strategic plan
  • Manage outside vendors required to support the Credit Union’s e-commerce marketing strategies
  • Work collaboratively with various departments in researching, evaluating, and recommending enhancements of the Credit Union’s electronic products, services, and delivery channels
  • Responsible for compliance with Credit Union policies including the Bank Secrecy Act and Customer Identification Program
  • Review Google Analytics and other web performance reports to identify trends and to make recommendations that improve digital marketing/branding efforts
  • Work with Credit Union’s website host and other third party site providers to ensure critical security updates are performed
  • Provide the SVP of Marketing with monthly reports outlining digital marketing efforts and the status of metric targets

Now that you know what you will be doing, here’s what you need to do it:

  • Five years to eight years of similar or related experience
  • Education:
    • (1) A bachelor's degree, or
    • (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree)
  • Strong written, visual and verbal communications skills
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Google Analytics
  • Proficient user of Adobe Creative Suite Products, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems, Marketing Customer Information File and Project Management software
  • Experienced with a wide variety of marketing channels with emphasis on digital, retargeting, geo-precise, social media, and inbound marketing
  • Experience hosting video meetings and breakout sessions on WebEx or Zoom
  • Ability to thrive in a virtual, in-person or hybrid work environment
  • Sitefinty Content Management Systems experience desired
  • HubSpot Certifications a plus
