Responsibilities:
The ISV Partner Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving go-to-market (GTM) marketing strategy, alignment, and partnership with key data center ISVs. The role will focus on joint marketing planning and strategy, including gaining agreement on priorities and implementation of programs that impact marketing and sales goals. This role’s objective is to establish, deepen, and broaden relationships with key marketing, alliance, and business unit partners, becoming a trusted advisor for each of the key partners.

  • Expand AMD brand awareness, consideration, and preference amongst ITDMs through strategic co-marketing initiatives.
  • Build strong links and relationships between AMD and ISV commercial marketing engines, alliances, and launch teams.
  • Consult with top tier ISV partners to develop marketing programs that will create rapid, measurable sales growth.
  • Work and collaborate in lockstep with the BU and regional teams to develop co-marketing programs crafted to drive demand and sales velocity through several vehicles including, but not limited to, channel partners, digital, training, events and more.
  • Represent AMD’s marketing strategy and identify areas of constructive collaboration with partners’ marketing direction to develop win-win opportunities.
  • Lead development and refinement of joint value propositions and co-messaging.
  • Orchestrate the execution of the strategy working with AMD BU, marketing and events teams, partner teams, and 3rd party vendors.
  • Ensure prompt and relevant communications about AMD marketing strategy, partnering opportunities and other updates to ISV marketing, alliances, and product contacts.
  • Be the primary interface representing the ISV within AMD internal marketing forums, driving ISVs’ needs internally.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Be knowledgeable about the dynamics of the ISVs’ organizations to understand their market, goals, issues, timeline, and opportunities to improve AMD marketing efficiency & integration within ISV campaigns.
  • Marketing experience working at an outstanding ISV or directly partnering with one.
  • Consistent record of working at both the strategic and program management/tactical level to market enterprise-class technology products and solutions.
  • Outstanding collaborator, open to ideas/iterations, adept at driving internal alignment.
  • In depth understanding of ISV marketing/sales structure and operational models.
  • Meticulous, with experience using quantitative and qualitative insights to improve marketing results.

Qualifications:
At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
