Digital Marketing Manager - Remote

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Digital Marketing Manager (DMM) reports directly to the Digital Marketing Director. This position supports the overall digital marketing efforts of the entire Dominium portfolio. This role is a mid-level manager role with no direct reports at this time. The DMM works directly with the Marketing Department Directors and Regional Managers to implement digital marketing strategies across owned & shared media (property websites, prospect email marketing communication, property-level social media), assist with marketing reporting, and copywrite for various digital marketing assets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for auditing and optimizing of 240+ property websites across the Stable and Lease-Up portfolios of Dominium-managed properties with website vendor support. To include: SEO, copywriting, imagery, user experience, audience persona, behavior flows, systems integrations, testing, and more. Serve as a partner to Marketing Directors and Regional Marketing Managers on websites ensuring the appropriate messaging, audience development, and campaign cycle are live and effective in accordance with property management goals.
  • Craft compelling and conversion-driving copywriting for various digital marketing assets.
  • Responsible for email marketing to prospect pipeline, working with Marketing Directors on messaging; working with Creative on email templates; and deploying proofs and final delivery through Constant Contact (or any future email service provider).
  • Responsible for the set up and troubleshooting of various business listing sites (Google, Apple, Socials) and platforms (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads) for any new construction project or handle transfers for takeover properties.
  • Support Reputation Management and Social Media strategies and content integrations across Dominium-managed properties’ websites, social media and review platforms. Liaise audience engagement with appropriate marketing manager and know when to escalate issues when necessary.
  • Analyze owned media data across a variety of reporting platforms: Google Analytics, Business Manager, Yardi, Reputation Management software, and Project Management software.
  • Responsible for making recommendations for all aspects of owned media marketing as it relates to the successful lease-up phase and maintenance stages of the stable portfolio.
  • Meet with vendors as needed to support new departmental initiatives or learn about new opportunities in property management digital marketing.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and effective documentation across digital marketing responsibilities. To include: website builds and updates across various campaign cycles, project management integrations, reputation management, social media troubleshooting, etc.
  • Stay up to date on emerging digital marketing trends, best practices, and technology. Provide consistent competitive analysis data presentations to Marketing department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of two years of digital marketing experience, specifically in owned & shared media, including: websites, email, social media, SEO, and reputation management
  • Property Management experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing concepts as applied to consumers and across digital marketing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including email communication and small group presentations
  • Ability to write digital marketing copy digital media placements, including websites, social media, email, and advertising
  • Experience in various digital marketing software and marketing technologies, including Content Management Systems (CMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Project Management Software (PMS), Email Service Providers (ESP), Meta Business Manager and Social Media Management Tools
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience across Google Analytics, Meta Business Manager, and more. This role requires someone who is data curious and knows how to make informed decisions/lead strategic conversations based on performance metrics.
  • Experience in Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Google Search Console, and SEO tools is preferred
  • Great eye for design and skilled in Photoshop, Canva, or other photo and design software
  • Good mathematical and analysis skills as measured by the Profile assessment
  • Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Innovative and strategic with a strong business acumen
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and be flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Incredibly detail oriented and strong project management skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to work both independently in execution and cooperatively in collaboration and strategy

COMPENSATION RANGE:

$62,000/year - $67,000/year
