Position Summary:
The Office of Admissions at Arkansas State University is seeking applications for a Digital Recruiter (social media specialist) who will assist with Undergraduate Recruitment through social media platforms as a key member of the University’s Recruitment Team. This person is expected to already be knowledgeable in social media platforms and to be able to lead the social media efforts to capitalize on the growth of our social media channels and to meet students where they are. This position will report to the Associate Director of Communications
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop content on trend personally, with the help of the marketing firm, or with the help of the student content creators
Develop giveaways and other engagement opportunities on the social media platforms
Post content on existing channels several times a week
Engage in new social media channels where students frequent
Respond to DMs and messages coming in from the social media channels
Create semester-by-semester social media channel plans
Be available during events to live stream or capture photos for later posts, which will often happen after hours or on weekends
Target students in their messages by reaching out to them
Other duties as assigned

Experience in marketing through social media preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
