You have a passion for content. You have deep customer empathy. You love making all the touchpoints in a content journey work together. You are highly collaborative and motivate those around you to work with urgency and proactiveness. Veeam is looking for an experienced Content Marketing leader to build a comprehensive content strategy, consistent framework, and execution plan to ensure Veeam speaks to customers and prospects across a journey from awareness to conversion and advocacy. You will partner with product marketing, campaign management, brand awareness, community marketing, and cross-functional teams to ensure we are crafting the right content in the right formats across all stages of the journey across channels.
Responsibilities
Build a content strategy and framework that effectively supports all phases of the customer journey from awareness to conversion and advocacy across Veeam’s Go-to-Market motions.
Partner with product marketing, campaign management, and cross-functional teams to evaluate content needs and recommend the right formats across the journey.
Manage and strengthen the content marketing tone and style guidelines to maintain a distinctive voice that speaks specifically to the buying persona for each campaign.
Support an SEO-first discipline in all content creation and editing to ensure maximum discoverability for digital content.
Manage the content lifecycle ensuring content is fresh, updated, and delivers a consistent message across all brand, media, and marketing channels.
Evaluate and recommend the best technologies and tools to manage the content across its lifecycle.
Project manage the content budget, internal resources, and agencies to produce the content deliverables.
Analyze content data and performance to proactively drive content optimization and effectively communicate the impact to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
10+ years experience in content marketing at an enterprise technology company.
Proven track record of developing successful content strategies that drive pipeline and closed deals for the business.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across functions – marketing, product strategy, and executive stakeholders.
Passion and strong understanding of the IT customer personas and the market landscape.
Analytical skills to help make data-informed decisions on content recommendations.
Knowledge of the best practices and technologies to help manage content across its lifecycle.
Strong executive presence and clear presentation skills to effectively communicate content plans across the organization.
Strong collaborator who takes direction well and is a team-player
Track record of coaching and growing a diverse team.
