As a remote-first company, this position can sit in Plano, TX or remote in the US.

Position Overview:

Alkami is hiring a Director of Deal Desk, who is responsible for supporting our Sales cycle through timely review and analysis of deal proposals. This individual partners with Sales, Finance, Product Strategy, and Legal to drive efficiency through the deal cycle, from proposal to contract execution.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Oversee the structure of deal proposals including pricing, discounts, terms, and conditions, while ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets
  • Provide guidance on deal pricing and discounting thresholds to maximize revenue and profitability
  • Provide strategic thought leadership to enhance the sales cycle through creation of SOP’s to streamline deal execution
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate contract terms, mitigating risk and optimizing deal structure
  • Build and maintain a high performing deal desk team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Create comprehensive deal analysis and insights to assist with decision support at the deal approval stage

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Business Administration, or related degree
  • 8+ years’ of experience in Deal Desk or Sales Operations
  • Strong understanding of sales cycle, deal structure, pricing models and financial analysis.
  • Accountability and ownership of work product and commitment to meeting internal SLA’s
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Team Player, excellent communicator, strong time management skills, and analytical capabilities

Desired Skills:

  • SaaS industry experience preferred but not required
