The Role
Work with a collaborative and highly engaged team focused on the employee participant strategy and operations (ESO) across our Workplace Investing (WI) marketing chapter. As a Marketing Director you will help lead our digital marketing and social media strategy. As a member of this digital-first marketing team you will play a critical role in optimizing and modernizing our marketing channels across the Workplace Insights, Inclusion and Marketing domain. Applying a data-driven approach to our marketing efforts, you will test and learn whenever possible and explore customer insights to enhance our communications and deliver a fulfilling customer experience that drives business results.
As part of a collaborative cross-business unit team, this role will:

Manage WI B2C Social Media Strategy: Collaborate on the broad social media strategy across organic, paid and servicing for our WI participants. Manage a regular cadence of ceremonies and monthly knowledge sharing sessions across the business unit (e.g. bi-weekly office hours, content planning with other business units). Partner with digital analytics and social monitoring teams to isolate customer insights to drive content calendar. Work with cross-enterprise partners to document and track upcoming submissions and calendar updates. Manage the learning agenda and execute a variety of test and learn strategies as we expand our paid social media offering across WI. Act as the resident social expert in WI marketing to help facilitate paid activations across the domain, working with measurement to drive a consistent point of view on success and how to optimize.
- Coordinate content messaging for social: Serve as a point of contact between the marketing partners across our extended business unit, content strategy team and enterprise social product areas to identify synergies and elevate this content to social channels to deliver on our customer experience value prop. Partner closely with analytics to understand the type of content our customers are looking for. Partner with content team to prioritize that content across our digital and social strategy and influence teams to execute that content across channels.
- Support Social Care workstream: Act as the liaison for WI social servicing ensuring live channel support has the content and resources, they need to support WI participants who interact on social. Close partnership with our Social Care squad and Participant Services representatives. Ability to see the B2B2C benefits and educate client-facing teams on how social can meet our participants where they are.
- Have a Digital First Mindset: Part of a marketing team focused on martech initiatives, data enhancements, personalization and experimentation and marketing orchestration. You will be asked to provide feedback based on past experiences or current insights on trends and marketing technology of the future. Experience with virtual chat or AI chatbots welcomed. Be the Voice and Face of Social: Lead the documentation and sharing of strategies, plans, progress, challenges, etc. with executives and broader teams. In this role, it can be expected to provide regular topline and quarterly deep dive reviews to key leaders such as the head of WIIM, Workplace Investing, and others.
The Expertise & Skills You Bring

Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in digital marketing; agency or consulting experience preferred

Bachelor's degree

Experience developing, executing, and/or optimizing social and digital strategies (for a large and/or regulated company is highly preferred). Experience with paid media strategy, SEM, and/or retargeting a plus.

Ability to influence others without direct reporting structure and strong presentation skills to educate, inform and influence at all levels.

An understanding of existing and emerging social media and digital platforms with experience finding (or supporting) opportunities to scale or build new capabilities

Desire to stay on top of industry trends, competitor insights, and measurement data to provide informed recommendations to team members

Passionate about teamwork with an appreciation for the value of diverse opinions and different skillsets

Strong social skills, including the ability to work across the organization and communicate, influence, and negotiate effectively with partners.
