We’re looking for a Director to join our Inclusion & Diversity team in supporting our Company’s continuing efforts.
Key Job Responsibilities
Partner with the Chief Diversity Officer and other Company leaders in evolving and implementing the global diversity, equity, & inclusion (DEI) strategy for all employees at Synopsys.
Drive implementation of key DEI projects and company DEI strategies in partnership with the Chief Diversity Officer, team Program Specialists, and other key partners and stakeholders.
In partnership with the Chief Diversity Officer, act as diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) subject matter expert, advising and partnering with the Synopsys’ People and Workplace Resources team (including Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, Learning & Development, HRIS, Total Rewards, and other HR professionals) on integrating DEI better practices into all our work supporting our employees.
Provide leadership and advisory support to Synopsys’ growing Employee Resource Group (ERG) program, working with the ERG Program Specialist and global ERG chapter leaders.
Manage a team of Inclusion and Diversity Program Specialists.
Requirements
Inclusion Expertise. Candidates should have deep expertise and experience in DEI work (at least 7 years), which should include experience advising global Human Resources/People functions on better practices to create diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environments. The ideal candidate:
Can leverage a strong understanding of equity, power, and identities when integrating DEI better practices to influence individuals, interpersonal dynamics, organizational systems, and company culture.
Is experienced in coaching and advising people on creating and being a part of diverse and inclusive teams.
Has experience leveraging people analytics and quantitative/qualitative data in creating, driving, and measuring impact of DEI strategies.
Has experience working in global organizations, navigating DEI work across countries and cultures.
Has experience supporting employee resource groups.
Drives Partnership and Collaboration. The successful candidate is humble, curious, and collaborative – able to move initiatives forward with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed global organization. They anticipate future organizational needs and drive DEI change management. They are also an experienced people manager.

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $155,000-$270,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
