Spring Footwear Corp. has been in business since 1991 and we have enjoyed tremendous growth. We deliver quality, value and comfort with every pair we ship to our more than 3,000 retail partners nationwide.

We are a fast-growing company operating in both B2B and B2C markets, including Shopify and Amazon. We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Accounting to lead our financial operations and build a strong financial process and team. The Director of Accounting will report directly to the CEO and work closely with senior leadership to ensure financial stability and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Develop and implement a financial plan that aligns with company goals and objectives.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Build and manage a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance objectives and maintain a positive work environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and tax filings.
• Manage the relationship with external auditors, tax consultants, and other financial advisors.
• Continuously monitor financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with experience in B2B and B2C markets and e-commerce preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high-performing finance team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Proficient in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
