Contrast Security is looking for a forward-thinking and passionate customer marketer to help deliver on our Reference and Advocacy program. This person will help drive programs and build advocates. The customer marketer will collaborate with our customers across storytelling and events, to amplify the customer's voice, and through social, web, AR/PR, user groups, and CAB. Build a partnership with sales securing customer references to accelerate opportunities and enable expansion across the lines of business. To place the customer at the center of everything we do at Contrast Security and align to strategic priorities.

This successful candidate will love customers and will create relationships spanning from practitioners to executives. We are looking for an individual with a proven record of accomplishment in fostering cross-functional alignment to support company strategic priorities. They will have a high standard for excellence, accountability, and feel a profound sense of satisfaction when they help customers succeed.
The Director of Customer Advocacy will work alongside customer success, across marketing activities, and sales. Align and deliver global customer marketing programs which ensure a delightful experience across the customer journey, promote adoption, awareness, and drive expansion. We will infuse customers across all activities and will build fierce customer advocates by establishing a widely adopted program to ignite customer-centric storytelling highlighting innovation and thought leadership.
This role is remote based in the United States and has global customer advocacy responsibilities. This position reports to the Global Vice President for Corporate Marketing, responsible for PR/communication, social media, content development, and customer advocacy.

Responsibilities

    • Manage a global customer reference program and platform to highlight how Contrast Security customers are leveraging our technology and their business outcomes
    • Drive customer 1:1 sales reference introductions and discussions to accelerate the sales cycle and influence revenue
    • Manage new customer nominations from sales and customer success
    • Oversee this model to nurture customer advocates across key industries and regions
    • Develop customer storytelling (print and video) to leverage their voice to engage and land new logos and expansion
    • Interview customers and supervise the content creation process with our writers and agency
    • Build integration and adoption of corporate campaigns and GTM strategies
    • Support customer programs at events and speaking opportunities, online events, user groups, and demand generation
    • Alignment of customers across AR/PR activities

Qualifications

    • 5-7 years of successful experience in delivering global customer advocacy
    • 7+ years experience working directly with customers, sales, marketing or in customer success
    • Track record of driving key initiatives across the company and cross-functionally across various teams
    • Demonstrate success and knowledge with sales and marketing automation tools i.e., Salesforces
    • Success in creating and managing effective marketing programs to deliver a personalized experience
    • The ability to capture customer stories and translate them into materials to leverage across the company to highlight innovation
    • Skilled in lifecycle marketing strategy and execution through the customer journey, delivering meaningful interactions
    • Effective communication and written skills to articulate the customer’s innovation with our technology with the ability to uncover real-life business challenges and key metrics
    • BA or BS degree in marketing, business, management, etc.
