Please Note: This is a hybrid opportunity with 2-3 days/week in HQ in Palo Alto

The annual base salary range for this role starts at $150,000 USD with an opportunity for an annual performance based bonus.

About Our Strategy & Operations Team

The Customer Value team at Databook is composed of two functions: Strategy & Operations (S&O) and Value Architecture. Our S&O organization functions as the face of Databook for our end clients across the globe. We act as strategic partners to help drive transformation in our customers' sales organizations and align Databook usage across their sales cycle to drive increased pipeline, higher close rates and larger deal sizes. We are a team of individuals passionate about building an exceptional customer experience and bring enthusiasm for all things analytics, process and operations.

The Opportunity

The Customer Strategy Director leads a team of individual contributors, Strategy & Operations Managers and Consultants. You will be responsible for a book of business and will work directly with our customers on a regular basis - sales leaders at some of the largest and fastest-growing tech and consulting companies in the world. Operationally the Director is a core contributor to driving operational excellence for the S&O organization at Databook - they will be supporting projects and initiatives that enable scalability for this rapidly growing team and company.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a team of Managers and Consultants overseeing a portfolio of clients as a senior level stakeholder to drive customer success outcomes
  • Work alongside the C-level sales leaders within accounts to create data-driven solutions for supercharging sales
  • Help to define a data-driven approach to customer success and management to drive account growth as well as employee development
  • Collaborate with customer value leadership to drive growth and scalability through ongoing internal Databook projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal Databook stakeholders to achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes consistently and on time
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to develop team members and support career growth

About You

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience across strategy consulting, customer success and/or enterprise sales with management experience
  • Excellent customer facing skills backed with demonstrated problem solving and analytical mindset
  • Strong understanding of the enterprise GTM sales ecosystem and the different roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder
  • Demonstrated ability to run multiple engagements in parallel and ability to form strong and lasting relationships with key stakeholders, both external and internal
  • Strong familiarity with income statements and financial metrics
  • Collaborative mentality by prioritizing 'we' and not focusing on 'me'

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or similar
  • Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or significant degree of financial acumen
  • Previous work in a rapidly scaling startup environment a plus
  • SaaS industry experience a plus
