Director of Digital Transformation & Automation

We're looking for a Director of Digital Transformation & Automation who has a deep passion and experience in creating a culture of and executing digital transformation programs across an enterprise. In this role, you will evangelize and be the champion of Celigo on Celigo, identify and influence business process improvements, digitize and automate them by leveraging Celigo's iPaas and other automation products and applications. This role will report to the CIO and will work closely with executive leadership and business leaders to shape and deliver initiatives, and will be responsible for ensuring that the initiatives are aligned with the company's overall strategy.

This role will be a key leader on the Global Technology Operations(GTO) team as well as the company. The GTO team is responsible for digitally transforming & scaling Celigo's business, unlocking productivity and operational efficiency for the organization, and helping Celigo achieve its mission. To do this, we collaborate deeply with the best minds and teams at Celigo that run our business and build our product. An ideal candidate for the Director of Digital Transformation & Automation, will be an industry thought leader, an influencer of all things automation and has relevant knowledge of industry trends on automation technologies.


What would you do, if hired?

  • Responsible for visioning and driving Celigo's digital transformation journey and our internal automation mission
  • Identify areas of improvement across the company's business processes, develop and implement strategies to drive change and lead a team of analysts and engineers to execute on those strategies.
  • Combine best-in-class digital process and automation technologies (incl. Process design/modeling and mining, intelligent/robotic process automation, Low-code/No-Code,) to deliver optimized and digitized end-to-end processes
  • Partner with Business and Functional owners globally and across the company to drive process re-engineering and automation initiatives
  • Drive process and automation community enablement across Celigo to democratize process re-engineering and automation efforts, to enable productivity improvements
  • Share industry automation trends and bring relevant tooling to unlock new operating paradigms.
  • Manage automation project portfolio including: Track and report on progress against tasks, activities, costs and benefits

Who are we looking for?

  • 10+ years leading global, cross-functional end-to-end process maturity assessment, redesign, transformation, improvement, and automation
  • Extensive experience with Business Systems, Automation Platforms such as iPaaS, Robotic Process Automation, Business Process Management, Process Mining tools is a must to be successful in this role
  • Diverse background through exposure to different functions and businesses - possibly through consulting, biz-ops, or similar roles driving x-company transformation programs.
  • Executive presence - demonstrated ability to engage with C-suite executives in companies of similar scale.
  • Business acumen - demonstrated ability to step beyond the function to look at the overall business from a commercial/strategic perspective.
  • Ability to take transformation initiatives to market evangelizing how Celigo uses Celigo to automate business processes - be a industry thought leader
  • Advanced data analysis skills required for root cause analysis, process design and business optimization to create a data driven environment
  • Conceptual thinking - ability to analyze theoretical ideas, connect the bigger picture at hand to develop alternate approaches to solving problems and create new insights.
  • Strong communication skills, especially around breaking down complex processes into digestible and relevant points (business process management notation) for diverse set of clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Hands-on leader who can dig into details when needed
  • 'Self-starter', 'independent thinker' with the ability to conceptualize, communicate (written and verbal) effectively and solicit alignment and buy-in at multiple levels across the organization
  • Experience to engage, develop mutually beneficial partnership with technology partners / vendors for joint value creation
  • Experience in Agile concepts, tools, and methodology to deliver projects

Pay Scale Information :

Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between $175,000 and $200,000 per year for this position. Actual starting base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in any formal employment offer made.
