Director of eCommerce - job 3 of 3

About the role:

Morning Brew is hiring a Director of e-Commerce, based in New York, NY. Reporting to the GM of Commerce, this person will be responsible for leading the day-to-day of all aspects of the commerce experience.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of driving significant revenue for consumer brands, providing excellent customer experiences and managing consumer product development, supply chain and operations.

What you'll do:

• Lead the day-to-day charge in building the newly created commerce business. 
• Own direct revenue goals and related KPIs.
• Manage the new product lifecycle process from ideation, pitch, source, development, and delivery to customers.
• Lead the product roadmap and commerce calendar.
• Own the site experience, constantly optimizing to improve the site & customer experience.
• Manage the commerce team and 3rd party partners to ensure products are developed and ready to ship for planned launches along with ‘of-the-moment’ releases. 
• Collaborate with growth marketing, content, creative, data & insights team and other relevant departments as needed.
• Manage our 3PL and related supply chain and operations partners.

About you:

• 8+ years experience in eCommerce, preferably with Shopify.
• Proven experience scaling a commerce business from the team, to products to revenue.  
• Demonstration of maintaining high performance expectations and leading teams to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess superb analytic skills.
• Product development:

• Experience managing all aspects of the product development process, including setting the product roadmap.
• Experience managing and sourcing new vendors across samples, development, manufacturing, QA, delivery to warehouse.

• Supply Chain & Operations: Experience managing daily operations, inventory and delivery of products.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and negotiating skills.
• Excellent communicator and able to rally those around you.
• Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
