Director of Finance

Do you want to experience the ultimate outdoor lifestyle in Whistler, BC--Canada’s premier resort town? Pan Pacific Whistler is looking for a Director of Finance to oversee its 3 businesses, the Pan Pacific Whistler Village Center, the Pan Pacific Mountainside and the Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub.

You will responsible for all accounting and financial requirements for the hotel in an environment of tight control. To develop the quality of the finance function within the hotel. Provide effective business support to the General Manager and hotel team through sound financial advice, analysis and forecasting, with the aim of maximizing value.

This position also has the role of Strategy Analyst / Business Planning Analyst. The overall aim of this role is to provide analytical support and business acumen to assist in executive decision making for the Hotel.

One of the main responsibilities of this function is to ensure that business planning and forecasting at department levels are conducted according to established procedures and are aligned to overall company goals. You will be required to work closely with Senior Management to advice and report on any business opportunities and strategic planning. You are also required to work on business cases, business models and strategic plans and give analytical support to assist in key decision making for the organization going forward. Requirements:

Previous hotel finance experience at a senior management level or 3-5 years in a comparable position in another industry.

Sound business Acumen.

Direct and effective communicator.

Benefits:

Salary: between $90,000 and $120,000 per annum
