Director of Health Plan Sales

We are looking for an exceptional leader for our enterprise health plan sales function. As a Director of Health Plan Sales, you will be responsible for building our product market fit in this segment, ensuring we continue to create lasting value for health plans through our differentiated provider data infrastructure. You will be a player-coach who will build a high-performing team and you won’t hesitate to jump in to tackle the most complex opportunities if needed. You and your team will be critical to both the present GTM strategy and future vision for how Ribbon can power every care decision to be convenient, cost-effective, and high-quality.

What we're looking for in this role

  • Leader and Mentor: You care deeply about the people with whom you work and have demonstrated the ability to bring out the best in others.
  • Experience working with Health Plans: You have experience successfully working in revenue-generating functions with health plans. Prior data platform or other technical product sales experience preferred.
  • Exceptional Communicator: You are a clear, concise, and motivating communicator who is able to convey complex ideas and topics with simplicity.
  • Creative Problem Solving:  You build creative solutions to a wide variety of complex challenges. You can learn new subject matter and suggest paths that haven’t been tried before.
  • Ownership Mentality: You care deeply about honoring your word. When you see a blocker or a problem, you solve it or make sure someone else does by stepping in to help your team and engaging with your cross-functional team to unlock the right solutions.

Your day-to-day

  • Player/coach: You will support and grow your team to maintain high performance and high motivation
  • Drive meaningful growth: You will strike enduring customer partnerships, driving meaningful growth for the company and adding value to the healthcare system writ large. You will set the strategy for attaining growth goals in this segment and lead cross-functional efforts to achieve our goals.
  • Scale critical process and operations: As we scale this book of business and the team, you will build toward our next stage of growth and ensure we re-imagine any existing sales processes to better suit our growth needs.
