ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following):
  • Leading team responsible for business rules configuration and testing of Movement Mortgage’s product and pricing engine – including new user set up, pricing and product rules configuration, team maintenance, pricing exception hierarchy, lock desk rules and more.
  • Coordinate with IT team to ensure system issues and tickets are properly logged and tracked within JIRA ticketing systems.
  • Leading team responsible for lock desk functions while ensuring the highest level of customer service standards
  • Maintain high levels of communication and coordination with MM product team to ensure programs are properly functioning within the Product and Pricing engine. Collaborate with the Product Team to review industry changes, investor announcements, new product development and provide a summary to affected teams within the operation
  • Maintain high levels of communication with the Finance team to ensure pricing and related margins are applied accurately within all relevant systems.
  • Coordinate with business intelligence team to ensure P&L calculations are accurately applied within reporting and finance framework for all programs, channels and teams.
  • Develop/Maintain rate lock policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of pricing/rate lock curriculum/training for newly onboarded and existing loan officers
  • Develop team responsible for oversight of loan sale purchase advice pricing reconciliation activities.
  • Work with marketing team to publish relevant capital markets announcements as needed.
  • Work on special projects in coordination with applicable Project Manager assigned by Capital Markets leadership team.
  • Act as the escalation point of contact for the Lock Desk and any pricing or margin related questions.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
(To perform the job successfully, the candidate should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this job.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in Secondary Marketing or Capital Markets for the Mortgage industry.
  • 4+ Years experience in Pricing System administration/software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Data driven, analytical with ability to think critically
