Director of Product - Remote

Our Team:

The mission of the DIY team is to help our customers create ‘I didn’t know my design could look this good moments’ for every Vista customer. As a Director of Product Management working in the DIY domain, you will join a motivated, global team focused on delivering intuitive design experiences for millions of small businesses to create professional designs. You will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing the development and management of Vista’s content creation process and tools. You will be responsible for driving the strategic vision, setting the roadmap, and ensuring the seamless execution of content creation features and workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Regional Leaders, Design Strategy Teams, Vista Product Managers, Designers, Engineers to deliver innovative solutions that empower Vista’s users to create exceptional content efficiently!

What You Will Do:

• Strategy and Vision: Define and implement the strategic vision for Vista’s content creation process, customer experience and tools, aligning it with the Vista's 3-yr vision and goals
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing product team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of product initiatives
• OKR Planning: Develop and manage key results for the content domain in alignment with the central product strategy
• Content Creation Workflow: Work closely with design strategists. Define and optimize the end-to-end content (graphic design assets and templates) creation workflow, ensuring efficiency, ease of use, and integration across Vista’s platform.
• Tool Development: Supervise the development and enhancement of content creation tools, including templates, design assets, and collaboration capabilities.
• Customer Experience: Champion user-centric design principles to create intuitive and seamless content merchandising experience
• Drive innovation with AI solutions: Research AI trends and guide the teams to explore and innovate in the field of AI driven content
• Analytics and Insights: Apply data and analytics to gain insights into user behavior, identify areas for improvement, track key metrics, and make data-driven decisions to enhance content experience
• Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies related to content creation tools, integrating relevant insights into Vista’s product strategy
  

Your Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience, 6+ in Product Management, E-Commerce experience preferred
• Demonstrate a high degree of ownership, customer obsession, and experience working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Ability to balance the short and long term vision as well as balance the needs of the customer with the needs of the business
• Passion for problem-solving and generating customer-first solutions with a positive “get it done” attitude
• Ability to influence and empower others, as well as to adapt and pivot when handling challenging situations and to make trade-off decisions
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with solid examples of times you have used data to solve a problem and influence future investments
• Experience working in an agile software development environment and working on complex and high-quality B2B/B2C web-based products
  

Nice to Have:

• Consistent record of building relationships and effectively communicating
• Familiarity with fundamental graphic design concepts and have an eye for design
• Track record of successful collaboration with a product development team or organization at a global level with remote teams
