ZS' Strategic Alliances and Investments group focuses on identifying, designing and executing strategic partnerships across ZS's global business. Leveraging ZS's unique market intelligence, broad and deep industry coverage, strong relationships and a track record of credibility in the market; the Alliances function brings innovation to market and drives client impact through working with partners.

DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC ALLIANCES - AWS

We seek an experienced business development teammate to build and grow our partnership with AWS. This person will possess strong partnerships experience managing relationship with AWS, have a customer-first mindset and possess the acumen to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. This is a leadership role with high visibility across ZS with a lot of engagement with ZS leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Build business around a strategic technology partner portfolio. Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategy with AWS;
  • Own the revenue target for partnership, build pipeline, and forge relationship with Field Sales and Business Units leaders within AWS to promote collaboration with our collective customers;
  • Work very closely with ZS client teams, AWS sales teams and customers to evangelize ZS solutions. Execute GTM plans, including sales plays and co-sell motions with AWS;
  • Maintain requirements of partner program and progress to highest tier in the program. Promote and manage ZS certifications on AWS technologies. Effectively manage enablement across partner portfolio internally and externally;
  • Engage strategically with ZS leaders and practice teams to define joint solutions on AWS platforms, build new lines of business, building and deepening partner relationships while successfully leading cross-functional initiatives;
  • Negotiate new contracts, collaborate effectively with, ZS marketing, PR, legal, and business teams to drive, manage, and grow AWS partnership;
  • Engage executives from ZS and partner to ensure alignment at the highest of levels;
  • Become a trusted advisor and serve as an expert on assigned partner/s, helping with enablement across wider ZS.

QUALIFICATIONS
:
  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred;
  • 15 + years of prior relevant work experience in partner management, and track record of managing partnerships with AWS;
  • Experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry highly preferred. Experience in consulting services business a plus;
  • End-to-end negotiation experience, including identifying, developing, and executing successful partnerships;
  • Customer-centric mindset to build and nurture long-term relationships with stakeholders;
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, changing environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively while applying sound business judgment and quantitative analytics;
  • Excellent oral and written skills to communicate complex issues and influence others internally and externally.
