As the our Director, Product Management, you will be working with a talented, passionate, and collaborative team of product managers, experience designers and engineering teams to transform the ways applications are built within small companies to large enterprise customers.
Role Description
We seek an experienced Director of Product Management to lead strategy and execution of key features & capabilities within the Quickbase platform builder. This team is part of the Product Management & User Experience organization and works closely with engineering, product marketing and customer success teams. Reporting to our SVP/Head of Product, you’ll manage a team of Product Managers responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and executing products aligned to our vision and product strategy.
- Inspire and lead a team of product managers (3-8 anticipated)
- Responsible for product oversight of full product management lifecycle, from defining product vision and strategy, development and execution of product roadmap, launch, and ongoing management
- Develop and maintain business model and product pricing that optimizes financial goals
- Oversee commercial and operating performance of product scope against stated KPIs
- Develop robust market, customer, and competitor fact base through day-to-day activities, including customer calls/visits, Customer Advisory Board, market research, win/loss analysis and engaging with key market constituents
- Work with the User Research team, identify and articulate high-impact research needs that could help drive strategic product decisions
- Synthesize user research and business data to help shape individual product projects within the overall context of the roadmap
- Drive high level requirements and buy/build/partner decisions for roadmap concepts
- Hold product managers accountable for feature requirements development that align to vision and ensure timely feature delivery
- Engage in development process as needed to provide clarity and direction
- Partner with product marketing on product positioning and value propositions
- Lead team through quarterly product reviews on product goals, performance, and priorities
Professional Experience
- 15+ years of product management experience, 5+ years leadership and people manager experience in the SaaS or IT space
- Experience leading multiple teams, coaching and mentoring product managers
- Domain experience in enterprise platforms, low code/no code, cloud, and AI technologies
- Experience partnering with User Experience and Engineering teams to launch cohesive experiences across multiple form factors
- Sound Business Judgement – Focus on what’s important, synthesize complex information simply and extract key insights
- Strong Bias toward Action AND Outcomes – Efficiently drive projects to conclusion through proactive planning, high attention to detail and holding stakeholders accountable
- High EQ – Understand stakeholder motivations and influence across audiences
- Commercial Fluency – Comfortable with financial, monetization strategy and business case development to achieve financial goals
