As Director of Pricing Strategy at Dynatrace, you will engage with product leaders across the portfolio to identify, prioritize, and execute pricing and packaging improvements that delight our customers and drive measurable increases in revenue. Your hypotheses will be based on a deep understanding of our product line’s value proposition, competitive dynamics, and direct engagement with customers.
You will lead change by partnering cross functionally to operationalize changes in pricing, packaging, communications materials, and commercial processes. You will help to define our competitive position in the marketplace via blogs and our pricing website and by serving as an evangelist for our strategy. The right candidate for this role will be organized, able to prioritize workstreams independently, and comfortable synthesizing complex topics into customer-facing written materials.
Identify and drive high-impact programs that improve Dynatrace’s commercial model at the portfolio level.
Evangelize and educate internal and external stakeholders on the core elements and advantages of our pricing model.
Collaborate cross-functionally to guide the development and optimization of pricing design and price points to drive revenue growth.
Design and rollout programs and processes that improve the execution of our commercial strategy and operations.
Conduct regular quantitative and qualitative analyses to develop insights on pricing effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of product management experience or equivalent role within a software product company.
Basic Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to lead and drive change among geographically distributed peer groups.
Deep understanding of enterprise software purchasing processes.
Superior communication capabilities, including publication of internal and external thought management materials (e.g., blogs, website).
Clear sense of ownership and accountability and confidence to independently define and execute priorities.
