Director, Product Marketing - Data Integration

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Product Marketing to join our team and lead the successful launch of our cutting-edge data ingestion product. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of our data integration solutions, with the ultimate goal of building a multi-million dollar line of business.

What would you do, if hired?

  • Product Launch Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product marketing strategy for the successful launch of our data ingestion product. This includes defining the target market, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Utilize market insights to drive product differentiation and inform marketing strategies.
  • Product Messaging and Positioning: Create compelling product messaging and positioning that effectively communicates the value proposition of our data integration solution to target customers. Develop clear and concise messaging across various channels and sales enablement materials.
  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales enablement tools, including sales presentations, battle cards, case studies, and competitive analysis. Provide training and support to ensure the sales team is equipped to effectively sell the data integration product.
  • Pricing and Packaging: Determine optimal pricing and packaging strategies based on market analysis, customer segmentation, and competitive positioning. Monitor pricing and packaging performance and make necessary adjustments to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of go-to-market plans, including coordinating product launches, marketing campaigns, demand generation activities, and events. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment and drive successful product adoption.
  • Marketing Collateral: Develop high-quality marketing collateral, including product datasheets, whitepapers, customer success stories, and website content. Create compelling content that effectively communicates the value and benefits of our data integration solution.
  • Market Expansion: Identify opportunities for market expansion and growth by exploring new verticals, partnerships, and customer segments. Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and drive customer acquisition.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the data integration or data management industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing enterprise software products, driving revenue growth, and building profitable lines of business.
  • Strong understanding of data integration and ETL concepts, as well as familiarity with tools such as Matillion and Fivetran.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to leverage market insights to inform marketing strategies and drive product differentiation.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing go-to-market plans, including product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for driving business growth and achieving targets.

Pay Scale Information

Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between $160,000 to $200,000 for this position. Actual starting base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in any formal employment offer made.
