Director Professional Services

Overview:
The Director of Professional Services is responsible for the execution of the strategic vision for professional services. This position serves as the strategic partner for the Vice President of Professional Services and is tasked with finding innovative ways to enhance efficiency and productivity. This position also selects, develops, and evaluates colleagues.

Starting base pay for this role is between $176,297 and $222,518. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states).

Responsibilities:
  • With the Vice President of Professional Services, responsible for the execution the Strategic Service Plan.
  • Applies standard engagement methodologies across service including frameworks, tools, and resources.
  • Develops and implements plans and objectives in an effective and innovated way.
  • Understands clients’ most important strategic initiatives and develops solutions to meet them.
  • Engages in high-priority interactions with clients’ senior leaders.
  • Oversees and coordinates daily operations of Service department.
  • Implements strategies to achieve prioritized initiatives.
  • Identifies marketable client opportunities to maximize business value to both the client and to Origami.
  • Responsible for the quality of client service and for client satisfaction metrics.
  • Assesses and reports progress in meeting team objectives.
  • Assesses client and team needs and articulates them internally.
  • Manages composition and workload of teams.
  • Provides coaching and oversight of each team lead to ensure productivity and quality.
  • Performs team member review, evaluation, and compensation processes.
  • Manages team, directly and indirectly, with the goal of enhancing professional development and personal growth.
  • Identifies, provides, and coordinates additional trainings opportunities for team members.
  • Acts as a mentor to less experienced Origami team members.
  • Facilitates the execution of strategic initiatives throughout the year.
  • Provides innovative ideas for ongoing improvement to the service model.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive management experience in a complex, professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and execute swiftly.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance Policy and Billing software is required.
