About the Role

Sharebite's Restaurant Operations team is looking for a (Senior) Director of Restaurant Operations. In this role you will oversee the daily operations and strategic direction for the Restaurant Operations team by working cross-functionally to develop long-term operational improvements, including go-to-market processes, internal and external operation procedures, strategic projects, and product enhancements in support of Sharebite's objectives. Ideal candidates demonstrate proven senior management experience in a highly dynamic setting. You will become an expert in addressing the needs and concerns of Sharebite's restaurant community by leading a team designed to take Restaurant Operations to the next level.

• Create and lead strategic direction for the team by establishing group KPIs and creating and tracking quarterly objectives.
• Develop and scale new and existing processes that support ongoing business growth and operations.
• Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and operating procedures by which the company's efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the business to operationalize market expansion strategy.
• Plan, direct, control, implement, evaluate, monitor and forecast quarterly budgets.
• Support and manage company-wide operational compliance in a number of areas (SOC 2, GDPR, etc.) as needed and applicable.
• Develop and execute new growth directives and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on new product developments and features ensuring a seamless experience for all Sharebite restaurant partners.
• Oversee and operationalize restaurant partner training
• Participate in the hiring and training of Restaurant Operations team members and managers.
• Create and implement policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations, quickly scale growth, and provide operational improvements across the organization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and communicate new directives, policies and procedures in support of continuous improvement of processes and experiences for internal and external stakeholders.
• Motivate, coach and lead department managers in achievement of organizational goals.
• Manage weekly company-wide updates on Restaurant Operations performance / initiatives and quarterly briefings to Sharebite board and investors.
• Positively represent Sharebite and the Restaurant Operations team internally and externally, of the organization to employees, customers, industry and community.

Required Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of leading and managing large operational teams, preferably related to the food tech industry.
• A data driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking.
• Proven experience leading projects end-to-end, working cross-functionally, and creating operational improvements in high-growth environments.
• Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment.
• Proven experience in translating high level goals into operational plans and procedures that drive results.
• Willingness to be working directly with our restaurant partners on a daily basis.
• A creative solutions driven mindset, with a get things done attitude.
