Director, Sales Engineering

As Director of Sales Engineering at Branch, you will be responsible for empowering and supporting a team of Sales Engineers across NA/LATAM/EMEA. This role combines customer interaction, cutting-edge mobile technology implementation, and team leadership. This leader will need a background in mobile technology in order to both engage prospects on technical topics while coaching and developing the team.

As Director of Sales, you'll get to:

  • Hire, train and mentor a team of high-performing Sales Engineers.
  • Own the technical success of our prospects while being accountable for hitting sales targets.
  • Serve as a customer advocate internally while effectively collaborating with internal, cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Product Management, Sales and Engineering.
  • Partner with regional and worldwide leadership to build and refine an end-to-end view of the customer technical journey.
  • Set metrics, processes, and responsibilities for your team.

You'll be a good fit if you have:

  • Solid understanding of iOS and Android programming, building apps and/or SDKs required.
  • 2+ years in a people management role.
  • 2+ years experience in technical roles, including some experience specifically with mobile technology.
  • 5+ years in customer facing roles.
  • Excellent ability to drive resolution of customer escalations and address complex technical situations.
  • Aptitude for understanding a complex technical product and business needs of customers.
  • Effective communication skills in stressful situations.
  • Passion for supporting and transforming customers' experience, a customer first mentality.
  • Experience growing, coaching, and mentoring a team.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customers as needed.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role: the estimated pay range for this role, if based in New York City, is $238,400 - $304,000.

Please note that this information is provided for those hired in New York City only. Compensation for candidates outside of New York City will be based on the candidate's specific work location.

Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location and may be more or less than the amount shown above.
