Job Description


What you get to do in this role

ServiceNow is looking for a Director, Solution Consulting to lead the SC Academy and Demo Center. The Solution Consulting Academy is designed to bring in new talent to our organization and train early in career people to become world class Solution Consultants.

The Solution Consulting Academy Director is responsible for the development, planning, hiring, and oversight of daily operations of the Academy program.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with this type of talent-development program as well as field pre-sales. You should have experience with recruiting and hiring, ideally with graduates or early in career people. You will have an understanding of technical sales and enterprise software, ideally in a cloud environment. An enablement background is a plus. You must have superlative communication skills, the ability to present, and confidence in communicating with leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Continue to grow and develop best-in-class Academy program for Solution Consulting organization
  • Manage the Academy Managers in the different Academy locations
  • Design and evolve the overall class curriculum
  • Develop our brand and brand assets to increase awareness of the program internally and externally and drive top talent acquisition
  • Measure success of program to ensure overall quality across all regions and a great employee experience.
  • Plan for and work with local managers on rotations and transitions of Academy graduates to field positions
  • Work with talent acquisition team to set profiles and guidelines for hiring associates. Participate in hiring process.
  • Work with Enablement organization to create the enablement programs based on evolution of Solution Consulting role.
  • Participate in assessment of Associates progress through formalized sessions

Qualifications


To be successful in this role you have:

  • 5+ years in pre-sales management for a software sales organization
  • Proven success in managing programs on a global scale in a Sales/Pre-Sales organization
  • Experience in or with a talent-development, training, or enablement program, ideally with new grads or early career personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and lead through change associated with a fast-growing company
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives in working in rapidly changing business
  • A strong technical background and experience with enterprise software (SaaS and Platform preferred)
  • Strong team player; demonstrated ability to partner and work across functional departments.
  • Strong business acumen, strong reporting and analytics, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Global experience preferred

JV20

For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $161,010 - $281,790, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
