Grow the partner programs by developing and executing on a partners vision and strategy aligned to the company goals.

In this role, you will have 3 main objectives

  • Design and implement the indirect sales motion at BambooHR and drive this channel to be a significant sales revenue engine
  • Design strategy to drive meaningful revenue through referral partners and resellers
  • Enable great relationships with Marketplace partners and deliver a thoughtful approach to realizing value from those relationships

As part of those main objectives, you will do the following

  • Own the strategic vision, direction, and team strategy for our partners; this includes the operating model, the partners we support, and delivering against revenue targets
  • Grow our partner programs; this includes increasing revenue and pipeline, identifying and onboarding the right partners to open new business opportunities, optimizing tools and processes to support our partners, and contributing with ideas and best practices
  • Ensure that BambooHR's partners are enabled with a leading program and infrastructure that delivers mutual success, including partner engagement platforms, compensation models, support resources, pricing & packaging, etc.
  • Manage a partner development team that focuses on building and driving revenue through our partners
  • Manage the relationships with key partners, including contract negotiations, and building and executing go-to-market plans
  • Own the partner experience and champion their needs to ensure mutual success
  • Drive executive support, alignment, and investment by providing visibility on the progress and future of the channel
  • Build alignment with internal stakeholder teams and drive accountability with Marketing, Revenue Operations, FP&A, Product, and other dependent teams to ensure goals and priorities are in sync and determine opportunities to achieve channel goals

What We'll Love About You

  • You have at least 7-8 years of partnership or related experience, preferred experience in SaaS
  • You are incredibly comfortable having high-level strategic conversations with our partners
  • You are a cross-functional leader and can confidently work with FP&A, Product, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Sales, etc
  • You have a deep understanding of how to define, develop, implement, and actively-manage successful partner/influencer channels
  • You are an experienced team leader and have had success in growing and developing teams and people including outstanding training and leadership skills
  • You understand the analytics that drive partner and channel businesses and are able to resource data and analysis to serve this GTM segment
  • You know the Salesforce environment and can direct teams to build the Salesforce instance to best serve channel partners
  • Written and verbal communication is a strength of yours and you're able to convey complex information in a digestible way
  • Expertise in executive communication is second nature and you know how to drive results as an influencer to executive teams
  • Passion to deeply understand our products and services and how to apply skills to drive revenue
