Job Description


As Director, Supply and Demand Analytics on the Supply Chain team, you will own the process of the overall strategy and execution of inventory planning functions. You will provide visibility to senior executives and other departments into the supply chain’s performance and trends as well as spearhead self-service tools to provide real-time visibility. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in managing data within complex multinational supply chains, as well as owning the inventory planning and sales forecasting operations. A strong analytical skill set is a must. As is a passion for complex and ambiguous challenges along with a willingness to prototype and rapidly iterate. We are looking for a proven leader who has skills in leading a department as well as improving processes and implementing best practices.

Role:

  • Own all system optimization and functionality for: demand forecasting, supply planning, and multi-site inventory optimization
  • Develop all personnel’s technical abilities and acumen in the Demand Planning and Supply Planning departments
  • Implement and improve an efficient, data-driven S&OP process to meet fill rate and working capital goals
  • Manage current and long-term forecast projections to drive procurement and inventory planning goals
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to streamline department processes, while improving accuracy, inventory health, and efficiency
  • Identify and introduce best practices for inventory planning and management within the organization
  • Implement key KPIs within areas of responsibility, including Forecast Accuracy, Bias, In-Stock Rate, Working Capital Efficiency, and Inventory Turns
  • Build and manage an effective, auditable documentation system
  • Collaborate with Finance and Brand Management teams to establish inventory-related KPI targets across the organization
  • Create visibility for other departments into the supply chain through automated data-driven tools and regular sync ups
  • Develop reporting and analysis methods for freight expediting, supply chain network design, and supply chain resilience
  • Support the broader Supply Chain department with ad-hoc modeling and reporting

The annual base compensation range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000


Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of leadership and management experience in supply chain management including: material purchasing, supply and demand planning, logistics planning, and inventory control
  • Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and manufacturing vendor management
  • Proven track record of successful change management, implementing and managing continuous process improvements and cost reductions
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to help push the business forward & be an integral member of the company
  • Strong data background, thorough understanding of statistical analysis techniques, and advanced Excel skills

Preferred Experience:

  • NetSuite ERP
  • 3PL Warehouse WMS Systems
  • Amazon Seller Central


Chinese language speaking proficiency preferred.
