Position Description

JOB SUMMARY

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Business Leader

  • Develop and implement a strategic talent recruitment roadmap that delivers the highest impact to the business by addressing the business needs and challenges of today and proactively plans for the workforce of the future
  • Lead a data driven approach to talent acquisition by leveraging analytics, insights and external trends as well as understanding of the long-term business objectives to guide hiring strategies and drive informed decisions.
  • Be a curious student of the business forming deep understanding of the internal business strategies, goals and objectives. Develop strategies to accomplish these business objectives and DE&I initiatives through knowledge of the external labor market and the impact of the micro and macro environmental trends

Lead the team’s full life-cycle recruiting

  • Lead team that successfully delivers exceptional full life-cycle of recruitment including attracting, reviewing, interviewing, assessing and offer negotiations for multiple searches and businesses in the organization
  • Support the team in developing a robust, high-quality proactive candidate pipeline through research, networking, social media, and effective outreach to meet the needs of the business
  • Deep understanding of how talent acquisition relates to talent management including succession planning, performance metrics and internal mobility
  • Understanding skill needs in relation to the larger organization wide strategy. Uncovering traditional and non-traditional skill markets. Hiring for potential and understanding transferrable and adjacent experiences and skills

Relationship Management

  • Foster outstanding business partnerships with both internal stakeholders and external marketplace leaders. Be a trusted advisor to leadership by educating, advising, and influencing on recruitment and market trends
  • Create an extraordinary candidate experience journey that represents our people-first culture.
  • Collaborate with DE&I team to develop and leverage a robust network of strategic partnerships to support DE&I hiring objectives
  • Manage and lead executive-level searches in partnership with executive search teams
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with all talent acquisition vendor partners to optimize performance

Innovation and Employer Brand

  • Benchmark with best-in-class organizations to ensure competitive advantage.
  • Incorporate an innovative employment brand marketing strategy using social media and other techniques to differentiate the brand and engage candidates
  • Ongoing pursuit of best-in-class talent acquisition strategies and processes
  • Drive for excellence with a strong focus on pursuing innovation, optimizing performance and continuous process improvement


Position Requirements

FORMAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • 8+ years of recruitment experience in a progressive corporation and/or agency
  • 5+ years leading a large high-performing team
  • Exceptional leader motivating and growing team to be best in class talent acquisition
  • Proven track record of creating a diverse and inclusive workforce
  • Exceptional skills at consulting, collaborating, and influencing with business leaders using organizational insights and strong business acumen
The starting starting range is $118,000 - $146,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
