Role description
As the Director / Associate Director- Accounts & Finance at GreyOrange you will be responsible for Global Taxation- both Direct & Indirect, Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) & Technical Accounting matters. This role will also require interaction and dialogue with relevant other department stakeholder to complete their task smoothly. You should have the ability to quickly and accurately supply the information demanded related to accounts.
Responsibilities
Ensure timely direct and indirect tax compliance for global GreyOrange group entities (USA, India, Singapore, Germany, etc.)
Support the team in planning and implementing tax efficient policies / transactions
Candidate shall be responsible for managing Revenue recognition (ASC606) and Technical Accounting transactions
Preparation of management information statements/ reports with variance analyses
Responsible for preparing necessary financial statement schedules and footnotes for the closure of Group and Subsidiaries Statutory Audit
Develop a proficient and thriving team within finance operations. Coach, train, and develop staff ensuring accountabilities are being met to expectations
Assist with Accounting/Financial Reporting/Financial Systems/ Treasury related projects
Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant/CPA with 10+ years of post-qualification experience out of which 5 years of experience at a leadership role is required
Sound financial concepts, knowledge of accounting principles, solid analytical and decision-making skills
Knowledge of Global direct taxes, international tax, DTAA, etc.
Direct and control the staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and developed
Professional experience in fast paced, rapidly changing operations in a multinational Company will be considered a plus
Strong Microsoft Excel alongside good IT skills particularly Outlook, Word & PowerPoint
Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
Sound knowledge of Oracle NetSuite Financial ERP will be an added advantage
