We are looking for a Director of Product Management to lead our e-commerce product line. This role will report to the VP of Product and will lead a significant portion of the BentoBox product suite, including our storefronts for online ordering, catering, gift cards, merchandise, and ticketed events, our dine-in order and pay product, and our payment request and events management tools. In addition to being responsible for our e-commerce product strategy and roadmap, the individual in this player-coach role will identify and execute on new opportunities and products in the e-commerce space.
What You’ll Do
- Define the company’s e-commerce product strategy and roadmap through customer discovery and market research in collaboration with e-commerce PMs and Product Designers
- Manage and coach PMs on the e-commerce team -- one or two initially -- and hire for the team as needed in the future
- Work with product design to brainstorm, prototype, and test new and innovative experiences and use learnings to iterate quickly
- Drive customer research in order to identify pain points and collect usability feedback on new and existing e-commerce products
- Lead agile development ceremonies with an embedded engineering and product design team
- Get buy-in from stakeholders and manage rollouts impacting Customer Success, Operations, Marketing, and Sales
- Define, monitor, and analyze product metrics for use in prioritization, iteration, and decision making
- Clearly track and communicate product plans, trade-offs, and results to a wide range of audiences
What You’ll Bring
- 8+ years of user-facing product management experience
- 4+ years of e-commerce experience
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering and product design
- Strong product intuition and experience solving customer pain points and breaking down ambiguous problems
- Proven track record of successfully managing and shipping software
- Great analytical skills and familiarity with e-commerce KPIs and analytics tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, accommodating both engineers and business stakeholders
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving, agile environment
- Passion for the restaurant industry

- Familiarity with both online and on-premise restaurant technologies
- Experience building and launching products from 0 to 1
