Product Designer, Player & Developer Experience

Discord is a leading multiplatform communication tool primarily used by gamers, focused on enhancing player and developer experiences through innovative product design. They seek a passionate Product Designer to craft user-centered designs spanning developer tools and in-game player experiences.

Skills

Proficiency with Figma and high-fidelity prototyping tools (e.g., Protopie, Framer).
Strong visual design skills with attention to creating delightful product experiences.
Experience designing for both desktop and mobile platforms.
Ability to communicate ideas clearly through multiple formats including presentations and prototypes.
Experience working within and maintaining design systems.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to oversee UX from concept to market.
Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes with pixel-perfect implementation.
Present and communicate design concepts to teams and stakeholders to build alignment.
Test, iterate, and refine designs alongside product teams.
Maintain and contribute to the company’s Design System library.

Education

Relevant training or education in design, though specific degrees are not mandated.
