DISHER is currently partnering with a local leader in the construction and development industry to hire a Project Coordinator. They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join their team, where you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating the execution of building projects, including new designs, expansions, and renovations, according to clients’ needs, desires, and financial resources.

What you will get to do:- Project Planning & Coordination: Consult with clients to understand their requirements, budget, and timeline, while assisting them in prioritizing needs versus desires.
- Design Support: Collaborate with clients to select materials, styles, and colors. Help translate their vision into preliminary sketches, design options, and detailed project plans.
- Client Presentations: Prepare and present designs, specifications, cost estimates, and proposed schedules to clients for review and approval.
- Project Management: Oversee the creation of detailed plans integrating engineering, electrical, and HVAC considerations. Coordinate with construction teams to ensure the project aligns with the client’s goals and manage the contracting process.
- Execution Support: Facilitate the building process from start to finish, ensuring client specifications are met and plans are modified as needed.
- Contracting & Documentation: Prepare scale drawings, contracts, and requirements for bids. Assist clients with contract selections and project closeout documentation.
What will make you successful:- Bachelor’s degree in business, architecture, project management, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of relevant project coordination or management experience in construction, architecture, or a related industry.
- Proficiency in project management software (Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana) and design software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and staying within budget.
- Familiarity with construction processes, building codes, and cost estimating is a plus.
- Ability to regularly travel throughout Michigan for business purposes
