Disney’s Direct to Consumer team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment helping to bring The Walt Disney Company’s best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere.
Part of the Disney+ Programming and Subscriber Engagement organization, the Content Planning and Scheduling team is responsible for leading strategic content planning, scheduling, slate management, title planning and governance, and localization framework and intent that contribute to a cohesive strategic content approach for the service.
Reporting into the Sr. Manager, Content Planning, the Manager, Content Planning is coordinating international planning efforts across content types (including acquisitions and current catalog), partnering cross-functionally with teams including Operations, International Programming, Marketing, and Communications.

Lead content planning efforts with designated studios/networks, working closely with international programming teams, Operations, and US-based Global teams to implement, track, and report on titles through lifecycle of planning to sunrise.

Responsible for maintaining daily communication and positive relationships with networks, marketing, and international office partners.

Coordinate calendars, reports, and content plans into data-informed summaries and high-level presentations for executives and internal collaborators.

Represent Disney+ Content Planning & Scheduling in meetings with a professional and enthusiastic demeanor.

Handle any challenges with a solution-oriented mentality, and act as project manager for ad hoc requests and deliverables as they arise.

7+ years of experience in a field related to slate planning, content strategy, content curation, localization, lifecycle planning, and project management, ideally in digital media and entertainment.

1+ year of people management experience.

Experience with the Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

The hiring range for this position in CA is $102,000.00 to $136,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
