This position is a key role in executing and maintaining a streamlined process within the Distribution Center. This includes monitoring the efficiency of productivity of employees within the Inbound and Outbound Departments. The Operations Supervisor will understand best practices to successfully reach department and company goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for the receiving and/or shipping accuracy and timely delivery of distributions released from the DC through proper reporting
· Provide consistent, transparent, in-the-moment coaching, and actionable feedback to the team to accomplish common goals and meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· Create/update reports to help manage/track productivity, order flow and order accuracy within the WMS
· Implement and maintain coordination of product flow, timeliness of transactions, and quality of work for all distribution center operations
· Implement and hold team members accountable to DC safety policies, Company policies and operational procedures
· Partners with management to sustain workplace health and safety requirements according to OSHA regulations and the Company safety guidelines
· Ensure workflow and processes are to maximum efficiencies for business necessity

Qualifications
· 3-5 years Distribution Center experience.
· 1-2 years Supervisory experience
· Understands and complies with OSHA regulations
· Knowledge of warehouse, shipping and logistics networks and systems
· Ability to coach and develop team members in performing job duties to department and company expectations
· Ability to operate DC equipment such as: order pickers, auto-packers, hand scanners, lift equipment
· Proficient with MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel etc.
· Must be able to multi-task in fast-paced environment
