• Lead social media strategy and execution for client in North America.
• Contribute to the North American regions corporate social media channels on LinkedIn, X, Facebook and Instagram, with a keen focus on growing relevant, North America-based followers.
• Work with the North American communications team, client corporate communications, clients PR agency and subject matter experts in business... groups and senior executives to develop engaging content focused on customer transformation stories, company initiatives, industry trends, sports events, employee engagements, virtual and future in-person events, and more.
• Assist with managing internal social media inquiries and requests by reviewing and editing copy to ensure posts comply with brand guidelines and tone. This includes managing a social media calendar to ensure posts are scheduled in a timely manner.
• Strong paid social media experience on all channels.
• Work with global social media counterparts to streamline content that reaches multiple geographies and coordinate cross-promotions on social channels for global initiatives as needed.
• Ensure the team is tracking against monthly/quarterly/yearly KPIs and metrics.
• Manage social media advocacy platform as well as measurement tools.
• Manage client global and regional Instagram accounts for major events in North America as needed, including creating a plan for the channel, filming stories, securing photos, creating text for the photos/posts, overseeing creative agencies, and more.
• Work with the digital marketing and field marketing managers to support sales initiatives by creating specific social campaigns focused on executive decision makers.
• The candidate will support the Sport Sponsorship Team in developing and executing social media campaigns for these and other large, in-person sporting events.
• Develop leadership content for key client leaders in North America
• Support client award nominations in North America
• Experience managing budgets and overseeing agency partners
Qualifications
• At least 15 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Social media strategy and execution experience
• Management of a social media team and agency
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills
• Paid social media experience
• Experience leveraging all kinds of content on social media, including video, photography, graphics, etc.
• Experience developing thought leadership content such as blog posts, social media posts, etc.
• Flexible to travel based on the business need (10%)
