We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our Team Members.Sr. BI DeveloperAs an integral member of our team, the Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of mission-critical enterprise Business Intelligence reports/dashboards. Working with cross-functional teams, this person will participate to gather and document reporting requirements to meet business needs. Using skills and experience as a BI Developer, this person will then use those requirements to design, develop, test and implement ETL, reports and dashboards that utilize the underlying data source(s)/data warehouse(s)/data mart(s). The person in this role may assist with the preparation of detailed specifications and will be responsible for the technical design, development, documentation, testing, implementation and support of various Data Models.Essential Functions• Participate in business meetings to gather reporting and dashboard requirements• Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources• Transition developed reports and dashboards to the Operations & Support team• Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users• Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented• Work closely with offshore team(s) and participate in scrum calls• Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members• Provide training, user documentation and assistance to end users as required• Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes• Understanding Data Sources and Data Modeling concepts to develop and enhance the existing Data Warehouse• Experience with a variety of sources (XML, Oracle, flat file, excel spreadsheets, transactional (OLTP) sources, etc.)• Knowledge of logical and physical database modeling concepts and techniques• Understand normalized and star-schema physical models and logical modeling concepts• Follow and implement Business Intelligence best practices and architectural standards• Collaborate with Oracle ERP Analyst to identify and resolve data quality issues• Participate and handle full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)• Participate with ERP development team to convert legacy reports (Oracle Discoverer reports)• Provide guidance on best practices for setting up and deploying reporting solution• Coach/mentor other team members as appropriate to facilitate their professional development• Please note that this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
