As a New Business Development Manager in the Commercial Finance, you will be knowledgeable in, and proud to take ownership of, the key stages of developing and managing outstanding business relations with new partners as well as assisting in expanding relationships with existing partners.This role focuses on but is not limited to the acquisition and development of new partner relationships within the various distribution channels we serve in the soft asset spaces (e.g. technology, office equipment, healthcare, energy transition, etc.). Your focus and attention will on be the recruitment and development of finance programs with manufacturers and distributors in these markets. You will be key in managing the strategy, growth, and direction of this business.This commercial-based role, where no day is the same, will fit a candidate with drive and ambition.You will develop new partner/vendor business opportunities, establish program agreements with partners/vendors on a global or regional level and support the Commercial Finance GBU on global and/or regional new business initiatives, based on policies of the department and within the DLL NBD strategy and plan.Find out more here about how you can unleash your full potential at DLLDay to Day• Identify, scope, prioritize and target potential key prospects.• Ability to connect and inspire an intercultural network of members.• Ability to bridge cultural boundaries and break down barriers.• Develop a prospect list and identify prospective markets and vendors, developing and executing program agreements.• Work with various domains in Commercial Finance to identify opportunities to expand programs outside of existing countries.• Align the NBD strategy to CF Americas Commercial team priorities to support existing portfolio maximization and new business sign up• Work with Program Managers and NBD Managers in other GBUs to identify opportunities to enhance programs with commercial finance products.• Use your existing network to open the doors to the prospects we are targeting.• Use your sales skills and business development acumen to open the door to identified prospects we have no contacts with.• Use your creativity to develop inspirational relevant value propositions within the parameters of DLLs existing prices, polices, products and services.• Manage complex and structured accounts and will work collaboratively with our credit team, legal, operations and other internal functions.• Connect at senior executive levels in organizations to build deep, long lasting, and sustainable partnerships with DLL.• Preparing and presenting documentation for review in credit and risk approval committees.• Support in the roll out and launch of programs that you bring into DLL as part of the NBD process.• Be part of a highly networked international matrix environment.• Know your numbers – It is essential for you to understand, track, measure and manage the size of your pipeline to achieve your budget along with the associated sales activity to achieve this.Measures• Number of prospect partner engagement at C-Level and conversion to securing new programs• Alignment of regional plan to Commercial Finance New Business Development’s overall plan• Number of business proposals made and conversion to written business.• Number of new/expanded negotiated programs and closed and converted into actual volume and acceptable margin.• New vendors/programs developed.• Understanding and observing all necessary compliance regulations• Tradeshow attendance to grow pipeline and develop relationships.• Collaboration with other GBU leadership to help drive CF business.• Customer satisfactionAll members enjoy• Two working days per year volunteering for a local charity.• Health and Wellness program including healthy food, free health checks, fun health & vitality activities.• Flexible hours with possibility to work from home• Career development opportunities: online learning, member development programs.• Click this link for an overview of all the benefits in your region.Essentials• 5 + years’ experience in Financial Services, ideally Asset Finance/Leasing.• or have worked directly with large manufacturers or customers in providing guidance on financial services.• or have worked in a New Business Development role previous and has knowledge and understanding of how to sell into the C-Suite.• or have worked managing or developing finance programs with manufacturers in Healthcare, Office Equipment, Technology markets.• Experience building and developing scalable and sustainable long term business relationships with confidence.• Strong influencer and excellent in (remote) stakeholder management, able to effectively navigate on all organizational levels.• Strong change leader with robust negotiation and influencing skills.• Excellent business English (both spoken and written).• Travel is requiredExtras• Extensive contact base and C-level relationships in one of many of the industries that DLL serves• Knowledge of the regulatory requirements for the financial service industry preferred.• A true team-player• Adaptable and able to think on your feet.• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.• US or Canadian Based Opportunity• Travel Requirement (50% -
