Document Processor III

Summary :

Processes documents through image/data capture (scanning) along with data entry of claim data, miscellaneous correspondence and internal company documents for filing to imaging software. Monitors printer systems and production program & ensures production schedules complete and take appropriate action or escalate action as required.

Formal Education Required :

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience & Training Required :

• Two (2) years performing same or similar responsibilities. Relevant experience includes: document processing and scanning, production monitoring and reporting activities and alpha numeric data entry.

Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:

• Alphanumeric data entry skills of 9,000+keystrokes per hour with 95% accuracy
• Maintain current knowledge of DMS and printer operations and programs.
• Work independently, with little direct supervision.
• Operate standard office machines.
• Maintain current knowledge of and comply with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of member health and business information.
• Flexible: ability to adjust work hours to meet business demands.

Level of Physical Demands:

• Sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Lift up to 20 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to operate computer, phone and standard office machines.
• Bend, stoop and stretch.
