Contractor - Software QA Automation Engineer – JAVA/Backend/API

We are looking for a Senior Software QA Automation Engineer to ensure overall code quality and ongoing maintenance of applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with development and operations teams to implement automated testing strategies.

Skills

Java coding experience
Automated testing tools - Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium Web driver, NodeJS, and Java
API automation testing using JAVA Springboot2, Rest Assured, GraphQL, or Postman
Experience with CI/CD processes and tools
Source control versioning tools – Git / Stash

Responsibilities

Develop and execute automated test suites throughout the SDLC
Build and maintain test scenarios and test strategies
Conduct various types of testing including unit, acceptance, integration, load, and scalability
Collaborate with developers to ensure all application areas are fully tested
Manage automated test suites and analyze results for issue identification

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
