POSITION SUMMARY:
Domo is looking for a Director of Web and SEO to own the strategic roadmap and day-to-day operations that maintain a highly efficient global website and optimize the digital journey to drive visitor engagement. This role will be responsible for organic lead generation, optimizing the digital pipeline funnel and improving overall site experience and functionality. You will be a key leader of the marketing team supporting departments across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the owner of the website and organic pipeline funnel, you will work with others to:
- Develop a roadmap that aligns domo.com with Domo’s business strategy and brand;
- Work with content strategy and product marketing to maintain and update site messaging and positioning;
- Define and drive SEO strategy, working with an agency and internal product experts to create and publish SEO content;
- Partner with paid search owner to optimize the digital lead funnel;
- Analyze site and organic traffic performance to identify and execute strategies and tactics needed to meet organic pipeline targets;
- Work with agencies and regional marketing leaders to localize top public facing web pages for international regions;
- Gain an understanding of the digital customer experience and identify ways to reduce friction, improve the customer journey, and optimize organic lead generatio;
- Maintain website compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
- Manage a small team of direct reports and work with development team to proactively prioritize and execute new web projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years managing a website for an international B2B company in multiple markets and languages;
- Experience with web technology, including Google Analytics, WordPress, JavaScript, HTML, etc.;
- Proven experience managing SEO and organic pipeline targets, working with marketing and sales leaders to optimize lead generation and budget;
- Proven experience managing projects and sprint reviews, working with Asana or similar project management and development software;
- Experience working with design teams in Figma to review mockups and prepare concepts for development;
- Concise and clear written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong sense of teamwork and the ability to work cross-functionally to obtain alignment on web projects while keeping deliverables on track;
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certifications with a focus on technology, business, marketing, or related field. MBA or related knowledge and skills will be helpful in performing the role with the right level of strategic leadership.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Knowledge of BI, analytics or data platform industry and related technologies will be helpful;
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally while contributing to and executing on a vision;
- Data-driven and love the pressure of quarterly pipeline and ACV targets and being a quick problem solver with pivot ideas to address gaps.
