Donor Cultivation Coordinator

The Mobilization Team is looking for a Donor Cultivation Coordinator who will help a team of professionals who are committed to supporting our grassroots donors. They will work with the direct mail, telemarketing, email + SMS, and digital ads teams to meet donors where they are, and offer them opportunities to further their connections with the party. They will work closely with the Donor Cultivation Director to manage the monthly donor program, support grassroots donor call time, and support grassroots donors on a 1:1 basis.


Responsibilities:

    • Work with the Donor Cultivation Director to develop strategies to engage and cultivate monthly donors through mail, phone, email, text, and events
    • Manage reporting on monthly donor trends and sustainer program performance
    • Pull and vet supporter records for personal donor outreach and grassroots thank you calls with DNC leadership
    • Staff grassroots thank you call time with DNC leadership
    • Manage creation of briefing materials and assist in production for Grassroots Town Hall virtual events
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for monthly donors
    • Work with the DNC’s creative teams (video, design, social/content, etc.) and organizing teams to engage supporters and optimize their experiences with the DNC
    • Other duties as assigned to support the department and the DNC's mission


Qualifications:

    • Ideal candidate will be a team player, faster learner, and self-starter; you are willing to work hard to get the job done
    • 1-2 years of experience working in fundraising for a political campaign or advocacy organization, or, experience working in a membership services or call time role
    • Have the ability to work independently and on a team; the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with an ability to work and communicate effectively with donors, staff, and vendors


What we would be excited to see:

    • Previous personnel management experience
    • Experience working with donors, clients, or constituents on a 1:1 basis Events experience, especially virtual events
    • Experience using data analytics to drive strategy
    • Experience managing monthly giving

Salary:
The starting salary for the Donor Cultivation Coordinator position is $55,000. on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position is eligible for overtime wages and is in the bargaining unit represented by SEIU local-500. This is an HQ based position.
