We’re looking for a high-caliber Senior Product Marketing Manager to launch the function and lead the charge in defining, positioning, and communicating what makes Doss's Adaptive Resource Platform (ARP) game-changing. This is a product-first role, focused on intellectually rigorous product marketing that distills complex ideas into simple, sticky narratives. That being said, your first 6 months will involve a lot of content creation! We need a master of the English language and help in up-leveling what you see on our site.
You’ll take ownership of defining the product, packaging it, and bringing it to market across various industries, including manufacturing, construction, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and logistics. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, sales, and leadership, and you’ll bring the horsepower to turn those insights into crisp messaging, impactful collateral, and high-velocity execution.
This role is perfect for someone who has done real product marketing — built positioning frameworks, launched complex features, and knows how to think like a founder.
Own Product Messaging & Positioning: Define and evolve how we talk about the product, its architecture, and its value across different industries and buyer personas.
Drive Launch Strategy: Partner with Product and Sales to lead GTM for new capabilities—from narrative and naming to pricing and packaging.
Create Strategic Assets: Produce clear, compelling solution guides, sales decks, use-case pages, and competitive intel that distill the “why now” of Doss.
Build a Modular Content System: Turn core product messaging into reusable, high-quality outputs—case studies, blog posts, newsletters, social assets, etc.
Own the Website Narrative: Work with design and growth to evolve our website into a high-converting, story-first experience.
Operate at Both Altitudes: You can dive deep into the product with engineers or zoom out to craft a GTM narrative with execs.
4+ years in a true Product Marketing role (title and function) at a high-growth SaaS startup. Bonus if you’ve done time in agency or ops-heavy industries.
Proven success packaging technical, horizontal products and bringing them to market in verticalized ways.
High IQ, high output: You think clearly, write fast, and can turn raw concepts into crisp messaging that scales.
Sharp design instincts—you don’t need to be a designer, but you know what good looks like (Figma chops are a plus).
Deep empathy for operators: You can speak credibly to buyers in ops, finance, and supply chain without buzzwords.
You’re excited to build in-person, 5x/week with a team of humble killers in SF.
Strategic Thinker: You love distilling messy problems into clean frameworks.
Builder’s Energy: You’re generative, iterative, and thrive with ambiguity.
Customer Obsessed: You always tie your work back to real use cases and value delivery.
Craft-Driven: Whether it’s a headline or a deck, you care deeply about doing things well.
Why Doss?
Doss is reimagining how operational teams work with data—building a flexible, workflow-centric platform that replaces dozens of siloed tools. We just raised a strong Series A round and are scaling with discipline.
You’ll work closely with our CEO and product team to define how we show up in the market—this is the first PMM hire, and there’s enormous room for growth, ownership, and impact.
Premium comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Unlimited PTO and mandatory US Holidays.
401(k), immediate eligibility.
Fitness, commuter (BART/MUNI/CalTrain), and equipment stipends.
Beautiful SF office (snacks, caffeine, founders who actually want to work in-person, guest appearances by Nicolas Cage).
The salary range for this role is $150k-$225k.
All compensation packages include equity because we believe employees building Doss deserve ownership. Salary and equity offered will be determined by several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
