Staff Software Engineer, Semantic Layer

DoubleVerify is a leading independent provider of marketing measurement software and analytics. They are looking for a passionate and experienced Staff Software Engineer to join their high-performing platform data team focused on providing insights for large brands.

Skills

Backend development with Python or similar
Strong SQL proficiency
Understanding of web and cloud technologies
Familiarity with REST APIs
Experience with BI platforms
Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Be the technical system owner responsible for technical vision and code quality
Learn and design multiple complex systems using modern technologies
Identify gaps and implement solutions in existing systems
Oversee technical implementations and mentor team members
Tester and optimize code developed by the team
Support power users in using reporting tools

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
