Drafter - Intern

Title:

KBR is seeking a Drafter Intern providing on-the-job training and experience typically reserved for students performing entry level tasks while obtaining the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform professionally. This position will provide routine support to technical services to the organization, under direct supervision, and will work closely with design originators, engineers and technicians studying drawings or computer models of original designs that require initiative, resourcefulness, and drafting knowledge. Support team members in creation of technical publications and customer presentations. Undertakes in project tasks designed to develop professional skills and expertise appropriate to de needs of the contract.

Required Experience:

• 3.0 GPA or above
• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Electrical and/or Civil Engineering and/or CAD Certifications
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and complete tasks within demanding time frames with minimal supervision.
• Must be a pending graduate in Spring or Fall of 2024/2025/2026
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office – particularly Microsoft Excel.
• This is a SCA position
